Apply for a UGC Scholarship online in 2021.

The following states are eligible to apply: Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura.

The candidate must have completed a recognised board’s 10+2 or similar programme.

Only students accepted into their first year of undergraduate studies are eligible for scholarships.

Applicants for general degree programmes, technical and professional degrees, including medical and paramedical courses, have been accepted into approved Universities/Colleges/Institutions (Integrated courses included).

The annual income of the candidate’s household is not more than Rs. 4.5 lakh.

Transgender candidates are also eligible to apply for the Ishan Uday Scholarship.

CANDIDATES ELIGIBLE FOR THE ISHAN UDAY SCHOLARSHIP

Candidates enrolled in courses or programmes at the Open University.

Applicants who have already obtained a scholarship for an undergraduate programme through another programme are ineligible (s).

Students who are accepted based on a management quota are not permitted to complete an application form.

Students were enrolled in Diploma Courses, which do not lead to a degree.

Students whose parents earn more than Rs.4.5 lakh per annum.

Ishan Uday Scholarship Amount 2021-22 UGC 

Scholarship Amount: The recipient student will get Rs. 5400/- per month via Direct Benefit Transfer for General Degree courses and Rs. 7800/- per month for Technical & Professional courses (including Medical & Paramedical programmes) (DBT).

You will get paid INR 5,400 per month if you are enrolled in a general degree programme.

You will be paid INR 7,800 per month if you are enrolled in technical, medical, professional, or paramedical courses.
